Responsibilities:

You’ll be taking on non-profit finance and fundraising management responsibilities at IAPSS, and assisting our Treasurer with ongoing activities. We expect around 5 hours/week commitment. However, what sets us apart is the academic and diverse nature of our work. We deal with an array of academia professionals from various geographies, so excellent communication skills are crucial. You’ll be handling new information from multiple spheres, and your propensity for analysis and creative thinking will be essential to succeed in our highly uncertain environment.

Minimum qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree (or in process of obtaining) in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field.
– Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

– Creative thinking and a willingness to explore the fundraising process.

Great-to-have qualifications:

– experience at non-profit fundraising is a fast track to an interview
– a finance or business-related degree is a significant advantage
– knowledge of German, French, Spanish will be highly valued
– involvement in extracurricular activities or student associations will be seen as a valuable addition
