In this workshop we will use data from appr. 7 million tweets related to the storming of the United States Capitol by supporters of Pres. Donald J. Trump and the inauguration of Joe Biden as the 46th president of the United States (January 6 to 20, 2021).  Participants will be trained on how to analyze hashtag co-occurence networks using the open-source and free software Gephi (https://gephi.org/). You are advised to install Gephi into your computers prior to the workshop.
