The International Association for Political Science Students (IAPSS) is currently seeking experienced and knowledgeable individuals to join us in developing high-quality Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) on a variety of political science-related topics.
As a MOOC instructor, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise with a global audience and contribute to the professional development of students and professionals around the world. You will work closely with the academic department of IAPSS to design and deliver engaging and interactive content that meets the needs of our learners.
We welcome proposals for MOOCs on a broad range of political science topics, including but not limited to:
- International Relations
- Comparative Politics
- Political Theory
- Public Policy
- Environmental Politics
- Gender and Politics
- Political Economy
We are looking for individuals who have a strong background in political science. A proven track record of designing and delivering high-quality online learning experiences will be advantageous. Successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
The goal of the MOOC series is to address a skills gap within the political science community by adding much-needed insights, skills and knowledge to the toolkit of students and early career researchers. In addition, all MOOCs will be offered free of charge to all IAPSS members, aiming at providing equal education opportunities to all, regardless of socioeconomic background.
MOOCs are required to have between 9 and 15 hours of content and should comprise of a selection of video lectures that culminate in graded quizzes. After successfully completing the requirements, participants will receive a certificate from IAPSS, indicating that they have mastered the skills and knowledge included in the MOOC.
