Education Initiative: Open Call for Masterclass Instructors

The International Association for Political Science Students (IAPSS) is looking for instructors to join our Masterclass Series. Our Masterclasses aim to teach and sharpen the soft and hard skills of political science students and early career researchers. We believe that Masterclasses are an excellent way to share knowledge and expertise with the political science community and help individuals improve their skills in a specific area.

If you are an expert in a particular topic or skill related to political science, we invite you to submit a proposal for a Masterclass. The Masterclass should be 2-3 hours long and can cover any topic related to political science, including but not limited to research methods, data analysis, policy analysis, leadership, and communication skills. We encourage innovative and interactive teaching methods that engage the audience and create a dynamic learning environment.

Please note that the Masterclasses will not have certificates or graded quizzes. Instead, they will focus on providing valuable insights and practical skills that students and early career researchers can use to enhance their studies and careers. All Masterclasses will be offered free of charge to all IAPSS members, aiming at providing equal education opportunities to all, regardless of socioeconomic background.

If you are interested in joining our team of Masterclass instructors, please submit a CV and proposal outlining your Masterclass topic, format, and objectives to Ruben Pretorius, Deputy Head of the Academic Department, at deputyacademics@iapss.org by March 31st, at 23:59 EST.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,
Ruben Pretorius
