Become an IAPSS Member
Individuals have a central role within IAPSS. Not only do they have voting rights at the General Assemblies and can thus actively shape the future of IAPSS, but they also benefit from our broad range of services and events! Memberships come at a student-friendly annual fee of 4, 13, or 19 USD for individuals depending on country of residence. You can also purchase a 4-years membership for the entire length of your education (on avg.).
We recently (2025) moved away from subscription-based memberships that auto-renew based on feedback from our members; the new memberships expire after their advertised term length, but can be extended if a student continues further with their education. All current memberships remain active but will require the holder to cancel them as they have in the past. IAPSS also offers joint memberships with the International Political Science Association (IPSA) and International Public Policy Association (IPPA).
Country Groups
The membership price depends on a country location of a prospective member. Our website software will display the cost of the membership, event ticket, registration, etc. for the Country Group that is detected from the billing information you submit. Country groups are decided by the World Bank. Click on the links below to find your country group.
