As part of the IAPSS World Congress you can train and enhance your academic experience by applying to be a panel chair and/or discussant. The role of chairs and discussants is crucial for the best reciprocal outcome of the conference, as you will be giving our panellists valuable feedback on their work. You will also gain experience on reviewing papers as well as being part of an academic panel.
As a:
- a) Panel Chair you will be responsible for guiding the student panel discussion and complying with time limits
- b) Paper Discussant you will be responsible for reviewing all papers of the respective student panel and giving feedback.
There are 30 student panels in total. Please choose which position suits you best.
The application will be open until the 10 of May 2019. Note you must purchase a ticket for the World Congress to be considered for one of these positions. You will be informed about our choice shortly afterwards.
