IAPSS Ukraine Participates in 28th Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Co-Operation in Europe

We are pleased to report that IAPSS Ukraine 🇺🇦 has continued to advocate for students’ interests and for increasing international cooperation. From December 2-3, IAPSS Ukraine participated in the 28th Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe held in Stockholm, Sweden.

Attendees included IAPSS Ukraine President and authorized representative for international communications Artem Oliinyk, as well as International Foundation President and great friend of UA Association Mykola Volkivskyi. IAPSS Ukraine delegates attended round tables, including a panel discussion on Crimea. Access to these discussions provided a insights into international support for Ukraine and various national perspectives from heads of diplomatic missions. Among the heads of diplomatic missions were Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau; members of delegations from the United States, Lithuania, Latvia, the Federal Republic of Germany, Georgia; and officials of the Kingdom of Sweden.

In total, 40 meetings and discussions were held during the two days of the Council, which have provided considerable networking opportunities while inspiring the launch of multiple new initiatives. The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe is one of the most influential organizations in the world, designed to be a platform for constructive dialogue to defuse tensions and ensure security in the region. Today, the organization unites 57 countries: European, Central Asian, and American.

IAPSS Ukraine continues to support these diplomatic efforts and awaits future updates.
