The Secretariat at the International Association for Political Science Students (IAPSS here and after) is looking for a Webmaster.

The Webmaster is responsible for the following:
(a) Setting short-, medium-, and long-term goals and objectives for the Association’s website and digital infrastructure in cooperation with the relevant departments and Executive Committee, making this a unique opportunity to contribute to our digital growth.
(b) maintaining and updating the official IAPSS website and ensuring its smooth operation;
(c) coordinating with departments, projects, journals, and committees to ensure website content remains current and accurate;
(d) managing the publication schedule of website updates, announcements, reports, and digital resources;
(e) supporting all departments and projects with website-related tasks;
(f) supporting the Association with the technical and digital aspects of virtual and in-person events;
(g) experience in website management, content publishing, and digital communications; and
(h) basic knowledge and experience in website administration, hosting platforms, and troubleshooting.
The Webmaster will be reporting and working along with the Secretary General and the relevant Executive Committee members.
Essential Requirements:
(a) A Bachelor’s or Master’s (ongoing or graduated) in Political Science, International Relations, Information Technology, Communications, Media Studies, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
(b) B2+ English. Oral and Written knowledge of other languages will be appreciated.
(c) Excellent communication skills, ability to work in multicultural environments, and excellent administrative and time management abilities, offering a chance to learn and grow in a diverse setting.
(d) Experience in website management, content management systems (CMS), or digital communications platforms will be an advantage.
(e) Prior experience in web administration, digital projects, or communications teams will be an asset.
(f) Most importantly, the willingness to help and support students and young academics from all over the world is an inspiring and motivating role.
(g) Respective and appreciative of the multicultural work environment and assignment deadlines.
Preferred Requirements and Qualification
These requirements stated below are desired in the potential candidate, but if not, training will be provided.
(a) Basic knowledge of website management, content publishing, and digital accessibility;
(b) familiarity with WordPress, website hosting, domain management, and web analytics; and
(c) a good understanding of Google Workspace and MS Office.
Expected involvement:
5 hours per week. The individual is assumed to continue office until May 31st, May 2027, unless further notified of any update.
Pre-Requisites:
Access to well-established internet services and technological devices to access meeting and work documents.
