The deadline to submit your paper is 5 May. The paper submission requirements can be found here.
Where can I stay while I am in town for the World Congress?
There are many great hostels, hotels and Airbnbs in Madrid! To help you narrow your search, The World Congress team recommends Hostal Casa Tao as one of the most cost efficient options. In general, the team recommends that accommodation near the Moncloa-Aravaca station will be most convenient for easy transportation to the conference site.
How can I apply for a travel grant or scholarship to participate in the World Congress?
There are two IAPSS funding opportunities:
IAPSS Scholarships – special grants awarded to a maximum of five students who demonstrate both academic excellence and pressing financial need, covering expenses up to 200 € each.
IAPSS Travel Grants – a limited number of partial grants distributed on the basis of academic merit and financial needs, covering expenses up to 100 € each.
Please note that all grants are handed out on-site in cash (EUR) during the conference – not in advance, and upon the condition of successful accomplishment of the paper presentation. If you wish to apply for either a scholarship or a travel grant (see above), please choose the respective option when submitting your information to the form, which is linked below. Please note that both IAPSS Scholarships and IAPSS Travel Grants are competitive and the travel grants usually only cover a part of individual travel costs. We therefore encourage you to search for other third-party funds at an early stage. To apply for a grant or scholarship to participate in the World Congress, click here.
