IAPSS Politikon seeks papers for a workshop and special issue examining the politics of energy
security and climate change in the Global South. Many countries of the Global South are eager to
assume a more prominent and active role in the international politics of energy security and climate
change. They initiate and offer novel solutions, both internationally and domestically, to the major
challenges of energy security, energy justice, and low carbon energy transition that our increasingly
interconnected and globalised world faces today.
